As moms, we take on a lot. Some of us have full time jobs in addition to being moms, wives, etc. It can definitely take a toll on us, our bodies and our health. I know that many of us, including myself have trouble finding time for ourselves. It is important that we make this time. Self care is very important. It helps us to feel better about ourselves, and when we feel better about ourselves, we are happier. Whether your thing is going out and getting a mani/pedi, or just quiet time to yourself reading a book, please make sure to take those moments for yourself. Self care also helps us to become better parents, because we do need breaks from time to time. Also, make sure that you are taking care of your bodies too, because we need to make sure that we remain healthy, so that we can be there for our kids. I know so much of this like common sense, but when we have hectic lives, we often put ourselves last. Just remember, it is not selfish to put ourselves first every once in a while.
